We all don’t have the “perfect” facial structure. That’s why we need face shape makeup tips. These tips will help each of us apply makeup to bring out our best features and minimize the ones that we don’t like so much. So, whatever your query is about your facial shape or facial features, we’ve got a makeup tip to help you.

The Tools

Artist

First, it’s foremost to realize what tools you’ll be using. We’ll make use of color correcting correctors. Light color correctors can dramatically convert your appearance. For instance, mauve or light pink corrector can brighten and conceal dull skin tones. Pale green is used to spoton ruddiness. Light yellow corrects under eye circles and other purplish/blue discolorations.

These light colors can help enhance facial features by lengthening, filling out and brightening skin. Dark colors will reduce, deepen, darken and conceal features and discolorations. Using a mixture of light and dark correctors (foundations) you can create practically any illusion you like.

The key is to blend, blend, blend. If you are using any corrector, whether it’s a color or a foundation that is darker or lighter than what you regularly wear, always remember to apply with a light hand and blend well. The light foundation corrector should be only 1 or 2 shades lighter and the dark foundation corrector should be no more than 2 shades darker than your usual color.

Face Shape Makeup Tips

Find your face shape makeup tips below.

Oval: This is the “ideal” facial shape. With the use of dark and light correctors every facial shape can be made to resemble an oval facial shape. Oval faces can need darker foundation applied at the forehead and chin to make it less severely oval.

Trapezoidal: This facial shape requires refining the lower part of the face with a darker corrector while also using a light corrector at the temple. This will bring the face in, development it more narrow and longer.

Rectangular or Square: spoton both of these shapes with darker foundation at the four corners. This redefines the corners into more of a curve, giving it a whole new dimension.

Triangular: The triangular face needs darker foundation at the chin, development it appear shorter, and at the temples, bringing the focus towards the middle of the face. Using light foundation along the jawline will give it more balance and depth.

Round: Round faces need only a little darker foundation applied at the temples and around the lower face. This will make it appear a little more elongated.?

Balancing Your Features

Face shape makeup tips also include your facial features. If you’ve got a feature you’re not too fond of, like your nose or chin, playing with light and dark correctors can help you adjust how they look. We’ll give you the makeup artist’s tips on how to do this.

Prominent Chin: spoton this by applying a little darker foundation right on the tip of your chin, and blend well.

Double Chin: If you have a double chin, blend a darker foundation right on the double chin.

Long Nose: Think your nose is too long? Apply dark foundation right on the tip and blend well to make it appear shorter.

Broad Nose: Broad noses are verily adjusted with dark foundation applied down each side of the nose.

Short Nose: Short noses need a light application of light foundation along the whole top of the nose. This will give it a less defined edge and help it to appear less short.

Narrow Nose: Widen a narrow nose by applying a light foundation down each side of the nose.

Crooked Nose: A crooked nose is the hardest. Apply dark foundation on the crooked side to minimize it, and then apply light foundation on the opposite side.

These tips will help you achieve a balance to your features. Face shape makeup tips are some of the most beneficial tips you can have. With them you can look your very best while still finding like you.

postheadericon Martial Artists, Keep Your Enemies Even Closer

We all know the antique Chinese command to “keep our friends close, but our enemies even closer,” right? Do you follow this advice or just utter the phrase every once in awhile? While traveling on a bus in California with my family, I had the opportunity to follow these wise words.

Natural Martial Instincts Kicking In

Artist

It all started even before we go on the bus. There were some guys in their twenties who were hanging at the bus stop in Orange County along with other unsavory types.

Just because we wanted to taste our first In -n- Out Burgers, we found ourselves at a bench, waiting with drunks, a panhandler trying to sell a bad bus pass, a consolidate of quiet guys, and these “twenty-somethings.”

As we got on the bus, these guys tried to separate my wife from our daughter. My wife is a seasoned martial artist. She slipped under the arm stretched over the doorway, and stayed with our “kiddling.”

Then these guys tried to keep me from my “ladies.” No go. I calmly stepped right through the blocking arm. He pulled it away at the last second, to avoid having me barrel into it.

In this case, my wife and I were Not keeping our enemies closer. Family first.

But…

Scared By a Knife

After we sat down, my daughter whispered something to my wife. I was sure that Quinn was wondering why I sat where I did. Instead of being right next to my family, or next to my parents, or even directly over from whether pair, I sat over from Kate and Quinn and a few seats down.

It turns out that Quinn was scared, because she saw a knife on the belt of the guy next to me.

Later, I found out that Quinn had asked my wife, if she thought that “Pop” had noticed the knife on the guy’s belt, in the sheath?

My wife’s response was, “Why do you think your father sat so close to him?”

And then we got to account for a minuscule Sun Tzu religious doctrine to our kid.

postheadericon The Artist’s Way – 3 Things You Must Know About Your Creativity

Have you put off doing the things you once dreamed you’d do? Whether due to marriage, parenting, caring for elders, being challenged at work or just ignoring that little voice of creativity, you may have done a version of putting yourself and your creativity on the back burner. Ok. No blame; no shame; many of us do that. What I want you to know is that you can make 3 small shifts which will hold you to generate a space for that unique creative offering you can make.

Tap into the flow by doing what makes you “feel good”. That sense of feeling good is so unique to each one of us. The very musical beat that puts you into the just right mood to generate might be the one I have to turn off. My idea of a magnificent organery might be just a nuisance to you. The trick is to find what works for you. What makes you feel good? Plan to add pleasant or uplifting experiences to your calendar.
Make no comparisons. Many of us have a tendency to correlate our situation with others. Stop it. Resist the urge to correlate yourself with anyone. Anyone. Cuz when you do, you loose and that sense of ‘not having it’, not ‘making it’, not ‘up to it’ will deflate any creative tendency. Catching yourself when you start to correlate yourself with anything else is a sure way to make space for your creativity.
That negative internal chatter is ‘on board’ with each human. It’s a function of our hard wiring which is designed to keep us safe. Very often there’s a ‘rampage’ of negativity just streaming throughout the day inside our heads, the voice of doom and gloom. It’s a function of being human and no need to make pathology out of it; just notice. The important zap here is to remember that you don’t have to believe it. You are the decider. You can pick a dissimilar internal conversation that supports your creativity. Yes you can!

Artist

Knowing these three simple, do-able shifts can make all the difference. That’s indeed how I’ve seen it work.. My wish is for you to have this facts while young, yet whenever you get it, you can generate a sense of plenty and creativity if you let yourself focus on your creative bursts and generate a conversation in hold of your ideas. You get to make it up. You’ve got the info now. When you implement these uncomplicated and marvelous tweaks, your creative process will serve you well. I indeed hope this is useful!

postheadericon Madonna – One of the Most prosperous Female Artists

It is almost hard to believe that Madonna is over 50 years old. As we still remember this new eccentric new singer in the early 1980′s with strange new looks and video clips like none other female singer had done before her.

I am sure some people even view that the name Madonna was a wholly fabricated name to sound more showbiz. However, Madonna is the real first name of Madonna Ciccone born to an Italian father and a French Canadian mother whose first name was also Madonna.

Artist

Madonna’s mother died when she was only 5 years old and the singer has admitted while some interviews that her mother’s death affected her deeply and was the calculate of some of her behaviors and wide personality.

She felt abandoned and weak and was thought about to be strong. She said that this was the drive of her success as one of the most victorious singer of all times.

Madonna is the top-selling rock music female with over 300 million records sold worldwide and 64 million albums in the United States. She is the second 2nd best female wide report selling of the 20th century only after Barbara Streisand.

During the 1980′s and the first half of the 1990′s no other female singers could even remotely reach the kind of success, fame and popularity that Madonna had reached.

Madonna who has revealed herself that she had been influenced by Marilyn Monroe, which was obvious in the music video “Material Girl”, is right on bearing some kind or resemblance with her down to the neck blond hair, fair skin and red lips.

Curiously the loss of her mother at a very young age was also a similitude in the middle of Madonna and Monroe having to grow up without a mother.

Like Monroe, Madonna has also found herself in the middle of some controversies because of her provoking videos and films. In the end, however, Madonna has always come out victorious, continuing to sell albums by the millions.

Even though Madonna has been somewhat quieter in new years, she is far from retired and has recorded her third live album earlier this year and has a film project as a director of a movie about the affair of King Edward Vii and Wallis Simpson.

Yes, beside her eccentricity and a few scandals that have sparkle her career, Madonna is also a talented artist who can sing, dance, act and direct films. All with sure talent and ease.

postheadericon The Best Weight Training Exercises for Martial Artists

My view is that the best weight training exercises are those that work a lot of muscles at the same time, and because of the nature of these exercises it is nearly always the biggest and most used muscles that are worked. Deadlifts are my favorite. They work nearly every muscle in your body and are designed to create a very marvelous physique. Also, there is no other practice in the gym where you can lift as much weight with than the deadlift.

For grapplers and strikers, i suggest this practice as a vital part of there training. Bench Presses are also very leading for both types of fighters. Using the exact muscles you would use for punching, you can create marvelous and explosive remarkable with this practice as it works nearly all the muscles of the upper body to some extent concentrating mainly on the chest, shoulders and triceps and back muscles secondarily. Also bench presses can build the drive required in controlling opponents when clinching and when on the floor. Every martial artist can advantage with leg exercises such as Squats and Leg Presses as marvelous thunderous legs will help when moving, bobbing, slipping, throwing, pickups, and of procedure kicking. Also an experienced groundfighter will know that legs play an leading role when grappling on the floor and to have them conditioned is a must.

Artist

Grapplers will also advantage with exercises that work the back muscles such as Barbell Rows and Chins as the muscles used when throwing and taking down opponents are worked. It is encouraged that anyone martial art practised, exercises that work every part of the body should be incorporated into there training regime, so deadlifts, squats, leg presses, bench presses, bent over rows and chins should be used. There are many more obviously but these four exercises should consume the core of your weight training and after a period of time not only will your muscles become well conditioned but you will compose a obvious explosiveness that will transcend into your fighting.

I suggest that a spotter is used at all times for safety reasons when weight training and correct form is maintained always. correct breathing is always leading also, and you should always breath out on the lift and breath in when returning to the starting position. For descriptions on these exercises just search them on the Internet and more than sufficient websites will pop up explaining them.

postheadericon Power to the Artists – 5 Things Every Artist Must Know

Artists! Now is the time to take payment of your craft. Today’s world is the perfect environment for creative people to prosper. The days of the huge corporations managing and distributing creative content are moderately dying out. Due to the advent of technology and the creation of the Internet, independent Artists have a pathway to show, distribute, promote, and sell their work to a global audience. Why should corporations e.g. Record labels, film production companies, publishers, etc. Etc. Operate the shop anyway? Why should they get to rule what content is released? Creative people, the time is now! Here are five free things you need to be aware of, even if you are the weekend rock n’ roller, or the Sunday afternoon painter.

I. Construction an online network – Free

Artist Florist

As an artist, I understand the personal battles artists go straight through within themselves. “I’m not an Artist. I’ve never been trained. I don’t have any talent. And how will anything ever see anything I create?” I’ve said and heard them all, but that’s not up to us artists to decide. Before the computer revolution it was easy for artists to dismiss their own endeavors by saying, “I can’t compete with other artists with such little visibility e.g. Films, records, books, etc, etc.” It was easier to accept that we have no talent, nor any platform to exhibit our work without incurring huge costs. That, however, was the past. Now with a personal computer and an Internet connection, anything can build an online proximity for free. Using free tools like Google profiles, one can generate an online profile with email (sign up for gmail account). With the iGoogle setup one also has access to an whole set of office tools: word processors, spread sheets, calendars, managing contacts, and transportation tools all for free. One can also link other sites to their Google profile. This establishes the framework for a network e.g. Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, or any other free or paid sites. The important thing to know is by linking all of ones sites into a network, the higher their wide ratings will be in the hunt engines. Produce your art. That is your job. Let others judge the quality, while you bask in the delight of creation.

Ii. Show your Art – Free

With the internet, artists can showcase their work to the whole global community. There are many free websites ready for people to make personal websites. They may not give you as much user relaxation as a paid site, but one can use that as a foundation to grow from. The total cost of a paid site is nearby (domain fee , and the cost of the server supplier /yr). Any artist can upload their work and get feedback from people all over the world. The best guidance I can give is to exhibit your art straight through your personal network (as mentioned above). Then from the network one can branch out and place their art in new network communities e.g. Online forums, music sites, etc. Etc. The key is to have a root relationship to your personal network (personal website). This insures the improvement of the artist’s independence and Operate of their content. The artist must make sure that he/she is benefiting from their work too.

Iii. Promote you Art – Free

With the advent of collective software like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, etc. An artist can acquaint the society about new works that they have just completed. As a matter of fact, full marketing campaigns can be industrialized using collective software to channel thousands of people to the artist’s content. The same thing is being done by marketers in corporations today, using the same software ready to you. The only difference, and this is a Huge difference, is that the artist doesn’t have to share any of the rewards with anything else.

Iv. Carry on your network – Free

The most difficult issue for any artist to tackle is to find people who can appreciate their work. So, how to tackle this massive task, especially on the scale of the ever-expanding Internet? Fortunately the rejoinder has been solved by Google. There is marvelous a tool called Google Analytics, which can be added from your iGoogle account. This aid is typically used in conjunction with a paid website e.g. Your personal domain. Most free collective sites have a built in amount of views somewhere on their page. YouTube has a place under the insight tab that tells you who was watching your content, and where. Further, it will provide to you inevitable demographics like age and popularity. What considerable information! For knowing that people in Eastern France love your newest work allows you to tailor your promotion strategies effectively, salvage time, energy and money.

V. Earn money – Free

Finally artists can earn money to continue producing. In a nutshell, the artist places ads on their network (Google AdSense). When people click on the advertisement, the artist gets paid a commission. The important thing to understand, however, is that advertisements cannot be placed on just any site. Free sites normally have some restrictions, but if you have your own domain, which I highly propose you get, Google AdSense is perfect. There are other similar services that may offer better deals. an additional one way to generate money, after your network experiences a decent flow of traffic, is by placing links or Ads for similar websites. The cost is all negotiable between you and the other party. For example, the artist who painted a picture of flowers might contact a local florist about placing a link to their site. Lastly there are sites where audiences can buy your work for a price, normally it’s a profit sharing deal (iTunes, Amazon, etc).

Remember this! Traffic equates to money. The more traffic a site gets, the greater value the site is worth. Remember that art applies to the enterprise world as well. Once a good insight of online marketing is known, any artist can generate enterprise relationships that haven’t been industrialized yet; the internet is a virgin ground of opportunity. Now go Produce your art.
